The Setai

The Setai is an intimate, serene oceanfront resort in the heart of South Beach. Its design vision artfully combines the rich architectural history of the neighborhood and its cultural diversity with the International Art Deco movement, particularly its influence in Asia.

Infused with natural materials, space and light, The Setai bears the unmistakable imprint of legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha.

The Art Deco landmark building was originally built between 1936 – 1938 as the famed Dempsey Vanderbilt Hotel. Next to it is our 40-story glass tower that surpasses all around it in elevation, views and design.

Choose from The Restaurant, The Grill and the Pool & Beach Bar. The Restaurant offers exceptional Asian-inspired fare and an award-winning wine list. The Grill’s more relaxed atmosphere delivers simple good fare that’s simply delicious. Our exclusive world-class spa offers innovative treatments to relax and rejuvenate. For guests who prefer more private treatments, we are able to arrange in-room spa appointments. Our fitness center has the latest equipment and our trained staff can arrange for personal training, yoga or Pilates sessions.

Each of our three pools is maintained at a different temperature, so our guests may select the water that’s most comfortable. Food and beverage service is also available poolside. While at the beach, continue to experience the elevated level of service on our private day-beds.
