Our guest rooms and suites are located in the fully restored, original buildings that have been adapted to today's needs. All suites feature 18-foot ceilings with exposed beams and rafters, 10-foot wooden double doors, massive iron beds, dark, tropical hardwood cabinets, and cool tile floors. Additionally, large, bulbous pegs in the stonewalls hold woven cotton hammocks, for which Yucatan is famous, allowing you to sleep in the Mayan style.
Each room has its personality with its own charm, decorated with fresh flowers by the lovely local ladies who are dressed in their handmade, white, traditional Mayan dress - the Huipil.
For an even truer Mayan experience, the Mayan Villas consist of authentic Mayan Palapas transformed into deluxe accommodations. They combine unique Mayan architecture with the modern expectations of today's sophisticated traveler.
Your next stay at this Luxury Collection hotel will be enriched by our smoke-free guest rooms.
The Hacienda Santa Rosa's restaurant overlooks a cozy patio. Have your breakfast by the pool, with views of the botanical garden, or in the privacy of your suite's own garden. Enjoy dinner on the terrace of the main house, decorated with candles while overlooking the open sky filled with thousands of stars.
Take a close look at the moon and the shining stars through our telescope. The menu proposes a blend of regional and international cuisine. With our chef, Guadalupe Huh, leading the charge, he'll show you how to fully grasp the gravity of this emblematic cuisine.
Don't forget to ask your host for our "Romantic Dinner" arrangements - dinner for two served in a perfect hideaway where the grounds are lit by twinkling candles and romantic music plays in the background
